Parkour: The Art of Movement

Parkour has become increasingly popular in recent years. In October 2016, Parkour was officially recognised as a sport by the UK – the first country in the world to do so. Following this, London has become a hotspot for Traceurs (individuals who practice Parkour) to work on their craft.

Parkour was founded in France in the 1980’s and is based on a military training principle used in obstacle training courses. The intention of Parkour is to use every form of movement available including running, jumping and climbing to get from point A to point B as fast as possible.

London provides a great place to do this, so we’ve composed a route for you which means you’ll be able to see the best Parkour sports in London all in the same day. Starting at the IMAX cinema, we make our way towards Waterloo bridge before ending up at Pimlico Estate so you can perfect your vaults. Enjoy the trip!
